Laude BSV host a talk by the artist Alejandro Mañas

The visual artist and researcher, Alejandro Mañas García, visited today, 14th October, Laude British School of Vila-real (Castellón) to give a talk about “Art and Mysticism in the 21st Century” to our students.

The Fine Art students from Year 10 to Year 13, as well as the Graphic Communication students from Year 13, have attended this talk in which Mañas has spoken about his production, concept and creative processes. In this way, the students have been able to know first hand their work and the techniques used, in addition to asking the artist all the doubts and questions that have been arisen.

Alejandro Mañas is a Professor of the Department of Sculpture at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), artist and researcher, doctor of Fine Arts and collaborator in the New Sculptural Procedures Research Group of the UPV and has made several exhibitions in Spain. His artistic production is about mysticism and spirituality in contemporary art. His work raises the creation of spaces for the cultivation of interiority and the search for knowledge in today’s society.

From Laude BSV we want to thank Alejandro Mañas García for having reserved a little of his time to visit us.
