BSV host a Basketball Clinic session
On 28th November, we celebrated at Laude British School of Vila-real (Castellón) a Basketball Clinic session, in which we received Elle Hendershot, a professional basketball player.
During the session, Elle taught our Year 8 students defense and attack techniques, as well as her secrets to improve shooting or play strategies.
Elle Hendershot was born in Lubbock, Texas (USA) and played at the Coronado Institute. After graduating, she moved to Edmonton, Alberta, where she played for the University of Alberta. She has also played in the CDP of Portugal. Currently, Elle plays at the Vila-real Basketball Club.
The students said they enjoyed and learned a lot with this fabulous initiative. From LAUDE BSV, we want to thank Elle for having reserved a little of her time to come and prove, once again, that learning has no limits.
