ART STUDENTS ON A TRIP TO ALCORA

Last week, Year 10 and 11 (and a few Year 12 and 13) Art students, went on a trip to Alcora; a well-known town in the ceramic industry. The importance of art and culture there is noticeable with, amongst other things, its Ceramics Museum. We visited the company Art Antic and saw how artistic murals were made by hand. We collected prints from textures in town and used those afterwards in the creation of our clay sculptures and tiles that we made in the museum’s workshop. In fact, soon, we hope to announce the opening of an art exhibition showcasing our work!
